A fine, untitled print of the Battle of Sluis in 1603. In the foreground is the naval battle that took place on May 26, 1603, between a Spanish royal fleet of eight galleys commanded by Frederico Spinola and the Zeeland fleet led by Vice-Admiral Joos de Moor. The Dutch fleet won this battle. In the background, from left to right, are Breskens, Oostburg, Sluis, Knokke, and Damme.
