This impressive antique map of a large part of Overijssel (the County of Zutphen) and surrounding parts of Gelderland, Drenthe, and Germany dates from 1690; it was created by Nicolaes Visscher and published in Amsterdam. The North is towards the right, showing the Veluwe and the Zuiderzee on top and Twenthe and the border with Germany on the bottom. It features a magnificent title cartouche and a second cartouche displaying the coat of arms of the County of Zutphen.

This edition (without text on the verso) was published exclusively in a composite atlas by Abraham Wolfgang, issued in Amsterdam around 1690.
