Beautiful 17th century map of the southern part of Italy, the former Kingdom of Naples. Decorated with a nice title cartouche, 12 coats of arms of the different parts of the Kingdom, two compass roses and sailing ships. Spanish coat of arms to the top right corner (Naples belonged to the Spanish Empire).

Published by W. and J. Blaeu in 1635 in Amsterdam in the French edition of their first large atlas (Atlas Novus).

Very good condition, some minimal age browning in the top part. Wide margins, thick paper. Reverse side text in French.
