The famous Blaeu map of Transylvania (Siebenbergen) in modern day Romania. Decorated with a beautiful title cartouche, with coat of arms.
This edition was published in the first French edition of "Atlas Novus," the atlas by William Blaeu, Amsterdam, 1635.
Excellent condition. Small reinforcement on the back in lower part of the central fold. Wide margins, reverse side text in French.
