Copper engraving of a view of the Camp de Tarragona during the time of the War of the Spanish Succession (1700-1714), with ships on the coast and a very nice title cartouche, with reference to the military defense, showing which of the surrounding hills are passable by cavalry.
Made by Basire, for ´Mr Tindal’s continuation of Mr Rapin’s History of England´, 1745.
Good-very good condition. Some minor repairs, not affecting the image. Otherwise excellent.
