Lovely folio sized map of part of Eastern France with delightful title cartouche with coat of arms and putti.
It shows the French Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region between Lake Geneva and the Rhône River, with Lyon in the bottom left corner, Geneva in the upper right corner and Bourg-en-Bresse central on the map.
Published in 1635 by W. Blaeu in Amsterdam in the first French edition of´Le Theatre du monde...´. Signed by W. Blaeu in the bottom right corner.
Very good condition. Some light even age browning. Thick paper. Clear print. Very wide margins. Nice hand coloring. Reverse side text in French.
