Large and very detailed map of the central Spanish provinces of Cuenca, Guadalajara and parts of Madrid, Toledo, Segovia and La Mancha with pictorial cartouche and scale of miles.

Published in 1781 by Homann Heirs.Authors: Franz Ludwig Güssefeld (1744 – 1808, German cartographer) according to D. Tomás López y Vargas Machuca (1731 – 1802; Spanish engraver, studied with d’Anville in Paris and returned to Madrid in 1760. In his 40-year career he made more than 200 maps).

Very good condition. Some light (water)stains and repairs in the margins, otherwise excellent. Clear print, original coloring, wide margins, thick paper. Central fold, as published.
