Rare 18th century large copper engraving showing four views of China and Chinese dignitaries in one very decorative frame:

a. First Mandarin Chinese-Tartar in the Council.
b. Peking Mandarins carried on a palanquin.
c. Chinese general on horseback.
d. Attitude of Chinese men.

This compilation edition comes from P. van der Aa´s ´La galerie agreable du monde...´, published in Leiden (Netherlands) in 1728. It is said only 100 copies of this monumental work have been printed.
