First edition of Blaeu's decorative map of Aragon & Navarra, centered on Zaragoza, and showing Pamplona, Bayonne, Logroño, Alcala de Henares, Huesca, Venasque, etc. Roman names shown for major cities.
Oriented with the North to the right, with France on the right, the Ebro Delta in the lower left corner and Basque Country in the upper right corner. Two large decorative cartouches and two coats of arms.
The map first appeared in the 1635 French edition of Blaeu's Atlas Novus, the famous first Blaeu Atlas. Published in Amsterdam
Good condition. Some light brown staining, mainly in the upper margin. Otherwise very clean and clear print.
