Rare early map (1736) of the Korean Peninsula, published in the work of Jesuit priest De Charlevoix about Japan, Korea and surrounding areas. The map is engraved by Dheulland and based on very early work of J.N. Bellin. This is an issue that was published 10 years prior to the more common map that later would be adapted for use in ´Histoire Generale des Voyages´.

Very good condition. Good margins. Lower part left margin extended with antique paper. Folds, as published. Clear print. Reverse side blank.
