Pieter (or Pierre) van der Aa is the publisher of the work "Les royaumes d'Espagne et de Portugal, représentés en tailles-douces tres-exactes, dessinées sur les lieux mémes, qui comprennent les principales villes, forteresses, montagnes, eglises, monasteries, maisons royales, palais…", first published in Dutch in Leiden in 1707. This book contains 165 numbered engravings with views and maps of regions and cities in Spain. The French edition of this work appeared that same year, and it was reprinted, also in French, in 1715 and 1741.

Very good condition. Clean, strong paper. Never folded, with wide margins. Hand-colored. White back.
