Netherlands, The Hague, Raad van State R. Boitet, 1730, ´t Huis van den Grave van Wassenaar, Heer van Obdam
Large and beautifully engraved 18th-century view of the building at Kneuterdijk 20 in The Hague, now the seat of the Council of State. Built in 1717 by Daniel Marot as the residence of the lords of Wassenaer-Obdam, it was internally renovated and expanded in 1816-17, including the addition of a neoclassical ballroom.

The plates were engraved by Gerrit van Giesen (1692-1750), Jan Caspar Phillips (1700-1765), and F. v. Bleyswyck. Published by Reinier Boitet (1680-1750).
Very good condition, Central fold as published. Very wide margins. Clean paper.
