A large and beautifully engraved view of The Hague, seen from the direction of the Vijverberg across the Hofvijver, with the Binnenhof on the left and the Voorhout on the right. In the background is the city center. In the foreground is a procession of the civic guard. It is based on a painting in The Hague City Hall and depicts the city in 1553.
